Project Goal:

To create a mobile application for intelligent e-commerce that offers tailored product recommendations to optimize and expedite online cosmetics transactions. The main goal was to improve the shopping experience and remove user hassles when selecting makeup by precisely matching products to personal preferences such as skin tone, eye color, and desired appearance.

Overview

The Dolly E-Commerce App is a cutting-edge mobile platform created to completely transform the way people purchase makeup online. My contribution was to develop an intelligent and user-friendly system that assesses personal preferences to suggest makeup that accurately highlights distinctive features. The goal of this project was to make online cosmetics buying easy, fun, and "disaster-free" for all users.

Key Features & My Contributions:

Customized Product Recommendation Engine: Developed the user interface and experience for a novel function that uses user preferences (eye color, skin tone, and desired appearance) to generate customized product recommendations. Customers found it more easier and more accurate to choose products when warm, cool, or neutral skin tones were taken into account.
E-commerce Flow: Designed user-friendly interfaces and intuitive flows for the whole buying process, from product discovery to checkout. This includes thorough product descriptions, simple shopping cart additions, and a seamless checkout procedure following item selection.
Complete Product Categorization: To make it simple for users to browse and find specific items, the navigation and categorization system for a variety of makeup products, such as lipstick, blush, mascara, and foundation, were designed.
Improved Online Buying: Concentrated on developing a simplified platform with easy-to-use navigation to make online shopping enjoyable, effective, and user-friendly.
Writing and Content Strategy: Product descriptions and app content were written in a clear and succinct manner, giving customers the knowledge they needed to make wise decisions and improving the entire shopping experience.
UI/UX Design Process: User research was done to identify frequent problems with online makeup purchases. Utilizing [Specify Design Tools, such as Figma], wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups were produced. Designs were iterated to guarantee the best possible usability and aesthetic appeal, particularly for the personalized suggestion feature.
